Move-in Checklist

First Month's Rent & Security Deposit
You'll need to pay your first month's rent and your security deposit to secure your lease.

Move-in Date & Inspection
We will schedule your move-in date and provide all initial information about your first inspection at the lease signing.

Utilities
You'll need to place all utility accounts for your rental in your name immediately following the lease signing. Please be sure to keep these accounts current throughout the duration of your stay, in order to stay compliant with the terms of your lease.

Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate
Please provide us with written notice of intent to vacate your rental property. Remember, you are responsible for paying rent through the end of your lease term. Refer to the terms outlined in your lease.

Property Condition
Before handing in the keys for your rental home, you'll need to bring the property back to rent-ready condition. This involves the following:

Rental Cleaning: Start by removing personal belongings and furniture. Clean all surfaces, including countertops, appliances, and cabinets. Wipe down walls and baseboards, and vacuum or mop floors. Don't forget to clean inside appliances and disinfect frequently-touched areas like doorknobs and light switches. Address any stains on carpets or walls. Empty and clean closets and cabinets. Lastly, pay attention to bathrooms, scrubbing tiles, and sanitizing fixtures.

Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you routinely address landscaping for your rental home, please take care of these chores once more before you move out; this may include mowing the law, weeding any flowerbeds, or replacing lightbulbs in outdoor fixtures.

Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, please take the necessary steps to repair such damage. This may include patching nail and screw holes, replacing broken glass, and repainting any discolored areas.

Security Deposit
We will perform a final inspection of your rental home when you vacate the premises. If we identify any damage, we will schedule repairs and deduct the expenses from your security deposit.

Remember, you cannot use your deposit to cover your final rent payment. Failure to pay your rent on time may result in legal action, adverse credit reporting, and late fees on your account.
