Robert K. H. Stevens

President

Robert K.H. Stevens began his real estate career in 1978. He attained his real estate license and painted houses, all while pursuing his MBA from Loyola University in New Orleans. After graduating with his MBA, he was employed with two Fortune 500 Companies and handled corporate real estate transactions and commercial lending and asset management. In August of 1994 he started Stevens Realty, after six years of working for local developers in property management and leasing. The late 1980s and early 1990s was a period where real estate foreclosures were very prevalent due to economic downturns in both Oil & Gas and Banking. Demand for Property Management throughout all property sectors was at unprecedented levels. Stevens led many property takeovers for institutions and used his asset management background to assist meeting or exceeding ownership goals.

Upon starting his own company, Stevens originally focused on Brokerage and Consulting and it was not until the 2007- 2008 time period that he offered third-party management services. Stevens has broad experience in Greater New Orleans in sales, leasing and management and has been active in office properties, medical office properties, retail centers, office warehouses, land, single family and multi-family property types. His home office is in Metairie, LA and he has been hands-on with projects in Orleans, Jefferson, St, Tammany, St. Bernard, and St. Charles Parishes. Stevens estimates he has been involved with over 10,000,000 square feet of properties during his career.

Stevens is a past President of the Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors (NOMAR), a past Director of the Louisiana Realtors Association and has been acknowledged for his transaction production efforts over the years. Stevens remains active with the CID as both a founder and active committee member and sponsor of the NOMAR – CID Annual Fall Forecast and Economic Symposium, attracting 400+ attendees annually.

Currently Stevens has a corporate membership with the Metairie Rotary & is serving a five-year term as a Commissioner of the Jefferson Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) and is on JEDCO’s Finance Committee.

Vice President

Robert E. Stevens is a 2010 MBA graduate from the University of New Orleans and a 2008 graduate of LSU’s College of Business with a degree in Economics (with a concentration in International Trade) and a minor in French. He began working part-time at The Stevens Realty Group while in graduate school as bookkeeper. Stevens is now a full-time licensed real estate broker with the Louisiana Real Estate Commission. He is a Certified Property Manager® (CPM) with the Institute of Real Estate Management, and he is a CCIM designee (a designation conferred upon commercial real estate leaders who have a proven record of success in the field and have demonstrated a mastery of financial, market, and investment analysis).

He is happily married to his wife Lauren and the father of two boys, Henry and Nate. When he is not working or spending time with family, he enjoys playing piano, running, and fix-it projects.
